The European Philatelic Federation (FEPA), recognizing the importance of Social Media in our era, organized a series of online discussions at the initiative of its President, Bill Hedley, with organizational support from Board Member Lars Engelbrecht. All national federations participated in these sessions.
The final teleconference took place on March 31st with participation from seven European philatelic federations, including Greece represented by its President and Special Secretary Dr. Georgia Baltsou. από τον Πρόεδρο και την Ειδική Γραμματέα Dr. Γεωργία Μπάλτσου.
FEPA created a presentation highlighting its social media engagement, revealing several noteworthy findings: 93% of Greek members use Facebook, compared to 80% international engagement on the Federation's Instagram. Europe's organized philatelists now number 100,000 - 50% fewer than the previous decade
This valuable FEPA initiative is expected to expand into additional teleconferences addressing philatelic matters requiring comprehensive, well-organized strategic planning.
